These host-parasite interaction data were collected to investigate how host tree traits (including provenance and phenology) influence gall wasp community structure (Vander Mijnsbrugge et al. 2026).Host tree measurement data, such as phenology features (spring bud burst and autumn leaf senescence), leaf chlorophyll content, tree height, and specific oak provenance details, are not directly formatted within this Darwin Core Archive. However, the complete host measurement dataset and provenance metadata are available in this linked Zenodo repository (Vander Mijnsbrugge & Maebe 2026).We released the data to the public domain under a Creative Commons Zero waiver (http://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/).
